Sorry for the delay in updating the last couple of days. The update for tonight is $3529. After nearly 2 weeks, we are feeling so good about this project and can hardly believe how this has happened. WOW! We can’t wait to hear more tomorrow about the other projects that have grown out of the “Living a Better Story” challenge.

Hello, I am the founder of Just Hope. Several years ago, I was in a small church group where the question was asked “are you willing to be radically available for God”. My response was “That concept makes me nervous. What if God wanted to send me someplace like Africa?” However, that question haunted me and eventually led me to quit my job and start Just Hope. And I now consider Africa my second home. I love being there more than I can say.
To have the opportunity, over and over, to be standing in a African village when a water well (borehole) is drilled and see the people having access to clean water for the first time in their lives is an overwhelming experience. Water is life in Africa and each borehole is saving countless lives. It means the elimination of waterborne diseases for a village, that children are healthier, that women do not have to walk miles a day with buckets on their heads to only bring home polluted water.
There are no administrative costs charged to Just Hope. And all travel is paid for outside of Just Hope. You have my commitment that I will be present and overseeing the installation of this borehole and that 100% of your donations will go directly to the project.
